Therapy - Counselling - Psychological Services


Your psychological treatment will be provided in the form of therapy sessions. Each session lasts for 50 minutes and takes generally place on a weekly basis. The amount of sessions that you may need will depend on the difficulties that you are experiencing and on how therapy progresses. I specialise in short-term therapy, emphasising on promoting independence and empowerment but I also provide long-term therapy if required. My therapeutic approach is collaborative, which means that we work together towards achieving the goals that you set up at the beginning of the treatment.

I work with any psychological or personal difficulty. I tend to avoid the use of labels to describe mental health difficulties as those categories cannot effectively capture the complexity of the human mind. Nonetheless, as I am aware that some people may be looking for help concerning specific areas of mental health so I am going to outline the most common mental health difficulties that I work with.
